The Plainfield Symphony Woodwind Quintet is comprised of Leslie Pruess (flute), Alan Birnbaum (oboe), Janet Vidovich (clarinet), Lee Doswell (bassoon) and Lisa Nettleship (french horn).
They have been playing together with the Plainfield Symphony for years, in Alan's case for more than 40 years, and comprise the heart of an outstanding wind section. For more

For their 92nd season, the symphony will perform a wide range of classical favorites including Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, Bartok's Violin Concerto No. 1, Schumann's Symphony
No. 4, Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez and Mahler's Symphony No. 4. Soloists include PSO Concertmaster Evelyn Estava, Spanish flamenco guitarist Pedro Javiar Gonzalez,
touring opera soprano Lisa Daltirus and the winner of the Young Pianist Competition of New Jersey, Justin Wong. Plus, the symphony annually performs one Family Concert each
season programmed for younger audiences and free to all.
