Rich Deans and The Fine Line
An alumnus of the New York/New Jersey club scene, singer-songwriter Rich Deans has shared the stages of the Bottom Line, CBGB’s,
The Bitter End, The Stone Pony and various other venues with national and local acts including, The Smithereens, The DB’s, Primus,
Level 42, Kate Jacobs and The Marys. Rich has also been a staff songwriter for ABC/Dunhill, Laurel Canyon Music, Dreena Publishing
and Castle Hill Music. His song “Blue Eyes and White Lies”, written for Kim Carnes, was chosen by Billboard Magazine as album cut
“pick hit” and his composition “Tiger on The Lawn” was recorded by Paul Cotton of the country-rock band POCO for his solo record.
Recently, his composition “Don’t Dig My Grave Too Deep” was recorded by Pat Wictor on his excellently reviewed "Waiting for the Water"
release. And the recent release by Hope Machine includes a stirring version of Rich's "You Can Count On Me."
“Rich Deans is a most fascinating songwriter, writing songs that are more like novellas set to haunting melodies of days past.”

The Fine Line
For this show The Fine Line will be represented by Al and Efrat and will feature their original music and a few key covers that illustrate
the "roots" of their music. The main theme of the show is "All Roads Lead From Memphis".
Al and Efrat blend their rich voices and performance styles to bring a tasty
buffet that can please even the most discerning palate. They just put a new CD out titled "Blues and Other Things".
It all began when Al Grigg and Efrat Sharon were brought together by a mutual friend back in 2012. Their shared fast pace, high energy
and constant pursuit to expand their musical selection, made the match work from the first moment. So much so that they performed a
well-received show at "Greenwich Village Bistro" in New York City on the very first day they met after a thirty minute rehearsal on
the sidewalk outside the venue.
Al and Efrat work together, both as a duo and jointly with a larger group of musicians, including Fred Peterson (drums), and
Jeff Taylor (bass), who were formerly part of The Flying Dogs of Jupiter until in 2013 all joined “The Fine Line”.
