Fascinatin’ Rhythm is a jazz vocal trio made up of Fred Fischer, Liz Fischer and Nancy Nelson DeSisto.

Fred Fischer: Piano and Vocals

Fred attended the Juilliard School and studied with jazz pianist and educator John Mehegan. He took composition classes at the Mannes School in New York, and studied classical piano with Margaret Chaloff.

Liz Fischer: Guitar and Vocals

Liz studied music in New England at the New England Conservatory and with the late notable New Jersey jazz guitarist, Harry Leahey. She has taught and performed locally for many years and played rhythm guitar with the New Jersey Jazz Orchestra.

Nancy Nelson DeSisto: Vocals

Nancy began singing jazz professionally at age 17. She has performed at the Royal Box at the Americana Hotel and the Rainbow Room in New York City, as well as many clubs in the New York area. Nancy frequently appears at the New Jersey Jazz Society, Newport (now JVC) Jazz Festival picnics at Waterloo Village, NJ, and she gives concerts annually at the Watchung Arts Center and the Bickford Theatre in Morristown. Locally, Nancy performs regularly at Shanghai Jazz Restaurant in Madison, and freelances with many other jazz groups and big bands throughout the area.
